It is Vietnamese culture, it is tradition to celebrate when a baby reaches the one month milestone and it’s called the baby’s “Full Moon” or full month. Little Hugo’s mom wanted to do something special for her son and turned to her sister Thanh Tran of Sweet Event Styling by Thanh to put together a fantastic sweets table for him at his party in Sydney, Australia. They chose a palette of blue, white, and silver with stripes and a mustache theme to add a little fun. Guests had their fill of so many yummy treats and got to take some home as a favor. Friends and family also wrote sweet notes to Hugo with advice and wishes. To see all of the photos submitted, be sure to stop by the full gallery!
There is something so fun and heartwarming about a gender reveal with friends and family, and this one for Gabriel and Caritza of GT Modern Creations is especially sweet! They are so excited about their baby on the way and wanted to involve family and friends for the moment they found out if their little one is a boy or a girl. They went with a mustaches and lips theme and used that to tie all of the party decor together, including on the banners, straws, and cookies. Guests recorded their gender guesses, then donned either a mustache or lip pin to show their choice. Guests also enjoyed a mimosa bar, barefoot wine and champagne, and mini food and treats as a nod to the baby theme.
When it came time to tally up the scores, nearly everyone was convinced it was a boy on the way. When the time came for the reveal, they called their family in Spain and Puerto Rico via Skype and got ready for the big moment. Each guest got their own balloon and pin, and at the count of three, the big news was revealed! Scroll down to find out if their guesses were correct, and you must see the short video clip of the reveal! It’s a moment that will absolutely warm your heart as everyone erupted in such joy. Before they knew the gender, baby Aura’s mama Ashley Thorne started with the idea of doing a gender neutral nursery in grey and white. But as soon as she found out her little one was a girl, Ashley just couldn’t resist going all in with a feminine design in pink and gold. She put in a lot of DIY love into the space, including the prints and the darling mobile. Ashley added some fun sparkly details here and there but didn’t go overboard, creating a sophisticated, sweet space for little Aura Grace.
