When Amelia turned one, her mom, photographer Nicki Pasqualone of Vitalic Photo, celebrated the occasion with a lovely little pink and aqua birthday party. Instead of relying on a theme, Nicki just wanted the party to be cute and sweet, just like Amelia. You can see that coming through in all of the adorable DIY details. For favors, Nicki made little ornaments with photos of Amelia throughout her first year, and hung them on a manzanita branch tree. Each guest could choose which ornament they wanted to take home.
