When it was time for Saylor Bleu’s first birthday, her name inspired the fabulous party planned and designed by Christina Wright of Simply Modern Weddings. With her first name of Saylor, they aimed for an understated nautical vibe for the party, which was reflected beautifully in the preppy, striped Essex linen from La Tavola Linen. Her nickname, bluebird, inspired the cute birdie details. Gorgeous vintage bird cages adorned the tables, filled with amazing florals by Dolce Designs Studio. Cherish Paperie created precious paper goods with the same bird and nautical feel. The kids had their own toy, game, and snack table, while the adults indulged in a lovely “bubbly bar” to make their own champagne-infused drinks.
Saylor’s mom Jenine is the co-owner of the bakery Cupcakes Couture that specializes in dessert bars and couture sweets, so there was absolutely no holding back on the amazing bluebird-themed desserts! Christina Wright of Simply Modern Weddings also created the backdrop by hand! Saylor got to taste her very first cupcake from Cupcakes Couture‘s new “My First Cupcake Collection”, which are all natural, no sugar added, apple cinnamon cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. How great is it? See all of the fantastic photos captured by Dave Richards Photography in the full gallery.

wow!
what a stunningly beautiful birthday baby Saylor had.
I am only nineteen and don’t plan on having children for quite sometime. however, like any female really, I do have a list of prospective names for my future children. at the very tip top of my list for the girls, is Saylor. <3 I have yet to find anyone else with a child having that name, so this page really excites me and allows me to look forward to the future! Good Luck with everything & God bless. <3
[...] For a larger or more formal event, take it up a notch with something truly memorable. For brunch, try a mimosa bar with bowls of luscious, perfectly ripe fruit. Photo Credit: On To Baby [...]
