This whimsical, DIY baby shower was held in honor of expecting couple Brandi and Seena in Altadena, California. The theme of the shower was “Care for a SPOT of tea?”, so adorable spot details where incorporated everywhere, including on the invitations designed by photographer Megan Blaine, the balloons, billy balls, yellow polka dots, and creatively displayed, fuzzy craft balls. The theme and these cute details kept the mood of the shower playful and bright. Guests were treated to an array of different hot teas and little homemade treats. Rather than having guests make onesies, they were invited to paint their own little work of art on small canvases for the baby’s room. Love this idea!
The total spent on decor was only $100, making this truly a budget-friendly shower! Some of the cost-saving details included using plain white sheets as table cloths and on-sale ribbon from Michaels to create a backdrop wall for the spread. Items like the tissue pompoms were also DIY’ed. Love it! You can see more photos from this shower in the full gallery.
