If you need any last minute Thanksgiving or Fall party ideas, you must see this adorable Pumpkin Patch birthday party held in honor of Avery turning one. Avery’s mom Meredith Santucci of MJ Paperie transformed their home into “The Santucci Farms & Pumpkin Patch”! The theme emerged for a number of reasons, but the main inspiration came from Avery’s nickname during her first year, “pumpkin”. Of course with it being Fall, it was the perfect theme! Guests were to BYOP (bring your own pumpkin), which they all had the opportunity to paint at the party.
Most of the decor was DIY’ed by Meredith, and we are loving how the orange floral and polka dot fabrics have been paired with burlap–it is the perfect rustic touch. The menu really brought out the theme as well with such homemade, yummy items as “Pumpkin Patch Pulled Pork,” “Cornstalk Chili,” “Grandma’s Cheesy Potatoes,” and “Pumpkin Patch Spice Cake,” amongst other choices. A really nicly idea! And what for a sweet dress, did you make it yourself?
My daughter is turning 1 on October 17th, 2012 and I am trying to come up with a fun and creative Fall/Autumn theme for her birthday. I came across this page and absolutely love the ideas!! This looks very fun, elegant, and playful for all ages. I’m just beginning to look for ideas and this theme is making me even more excited to do something different from your average cartoon character 1st birthday party! Thanks again for sharing! Fall is my favorite. This party is my favorite. Love. Love. Love.
So I have changed my mind once and for all!!! This already has everything I wanted to do from the beginning and will be much easier! Any ideas on the wording for the invitation?
Where did you get haystacks and pumpkins from?
