Vintage Parisian Cafe Themed Baby Shower

This mom-to-be, Tara, envisioned a purple Parisian themed baby shower, so host and photographer Kim Thiel transformed her living room into a vintage Parisian cafe for a sweet tea party. Kim’s husband strung lights throughout the room to bring in the feeling of an outdoor street cafe. Lace curtains sourced from thrift shops became the table cloths on top of small round tables adorned with florals from Flower Girl Design Studio. The tea cups and saucers, hot cocoa cups, glassware, serving plates, napkins and pots were also thrift store finds, which helped reduce waste and save money. Guests enjoyed fresh fruit and cucumber sandwiches, hot cocoa and handmade marshmallow, and tea with biscuits and biscotti. For one more special treat, dessert also included delicious triple vanilla crème brûlée cupcakes from Monzu. To see more from this lovely shower, visit the full gallery of photos.
