Little Jettie is a happy and spunky little girl, so her mom, photographer Brandy Rammel, wanted her first birthday party to celebrate and reflect her personality. Poppies made a great fit with their bold look and jovial feel. Brandy brought black and white stripes into the design as a graphic element to compliment the poppies, and Jettie’s striped party dress made the perfect match! Brandy along with family put in a lot of time and care into the party decor, making oodles of gorgeous paper poppies by hand. Read on for more details from Brandy:
“All of the poppies are made of tissue paper, very time consuming but so well worth it. There were over 200 poppies made by myself, Sticky, my mom and my granny. My mom also painted the stripes on the small lanterns, a detail I thought really stood out. We have many nieces and nephews as well as little friends so we had to have some pink and red items to play with. All of the cupcakes and the M&M cookies were made by Jettie’s nanny. A very special person in her life who’s baking ability is only outshone by her sweetness. And a touch that many guests enjoyed was the giant board the held all of Jettie’s ‘instagrams’ from her first year. The party truly was the perfect way to celebrate our daughter turning one! She certainly deserved a pretty poppy party!”

What a cute party! I’m in love with the highchair they are using does anyone know where I could find this?
Such a beautiful party, Jettie is very lucky. I was wondering where you bought her highchair, I’ve been looking for one just like it?
