In honor of her daughter Rylie’s baptism, Cassidy Freitas created this beautiful vintage picnic themed reception adorned in gold and white. Cassidy wanted the reception to feel pure and sweet, just like her daughter. She used pinterest for inspiration and dreamed up this warm “vintage lavender picnic” theme. Every detail is absolutely lovely, from the rustic mini pies to the gorgeous white peonies displayed in burlap and lace wrapped vases.
Vintage picnic baskets were set atop the dessert table, which was filled with fanciful picnic inspired treats, including lavender madeleines and apple pies “a la bow”. Guests also enjoyed freshly squeezed lavender lemonade and found festive dotted and chevron placemats at each place setting. Friends and family used the pink, vintage typewriter to write a prayer or blessing for Rylie, with old family baby photos displayed above. Such a sweet day for a sweet girl!
