Moroccan Themed Sip ‘N See

Guest-of-honor Seri of Little Miss Party now lives in New York, so this darling Sip ‘N See held in Toronto was the perfect opportunity for family and friends to meet her new baby Luke. Seri’s sister Mandy along with Ashley of Ashley Lindzon Events and Elyse Glaser worked together to create this lovely Moroccan Themed Sip ‘N See, with its theme inspired from the bold color palette of navy blue, fuchsia and gold. They brought it to life with lots of fab DIY projects, like the gold doily garland, glitter bunting cake topper, gold dipped forks for the dessert table, navy tassels for the food table, and gold spray-painted soup cans used as vases.

Guests started by “sipping” Moroccan Mint Iced-Tea in champagne flutes with DIY straw flags. The big hit, however, was the “Make Your Own Caesar” Cocktail Bar. Mason jars were pre-rimmed and filled with Clamato juice and guests were invited to garnish them as they saw fit with vodka, pickled green beans, and cilantro. The fantastic Moroccan inspired menu created by Elyse Glaser included Moroccan cigars, chickpea salad shooters, spicy tomato soup sips, mini falafels and more! Those who wanted to follow up with something sweet had some delicious choices at the dessert table, stocked with chai crème brulée, mini cupcakes, and a preserved lemon and citrus bundt cake topped with a tangerine glaze. A little sweetness went home with them too with custom wrapped chocolate bar favors! Robyn Harrison was there to captured these lovely images, and you can see more of this pretty event in the full gallery.
