With it’s fun styling and whimsical spirit, this girly nursery designed by Ashley Rose had me at hello! Ashley’s first child was an adorable little boy (see his nursery here!), so with a baby girl on the way, she had fun doing something different and decidedly GIRL. Ashley wanted the space to have a fun, sweet vibe and avoid coming off as baby-ish. She found inspiration for the room in Kate Spade and also a bit of Anthropologie, using glitter along with woodsy and vintage pieces.
Lots of DIY and personal touches fill the space, including the clever frame holding headbands and bows (stealing this idea!), the glittering “Yeah Baby” sign, and the inventive hanging closet branch. One cute, custom touch is that the dresser drawers were hand painted by a friend with words to describe their contents: “play” for casual clothes, “twirl” for dresses, and “snooze” for jammies. She also included some little British touches here and there to play off her baby’s name: Parker London Rose. To see much more of this darling nursery, stop by the full gallery!
