This classic storybook themed baby shower has me smiling from ear to ear with all of the pretty color, sparkle, and DIY love! Mom-to-be Katie of Katrina Louise Photography was the guest-of-honor, while her sisters-in-law hosted the event. The invitation featured darling illustrations by Katie’s sister-in-law, Brittany, including a special, sweet touch: the first illustration is of the Velveteen Rabbit, from which Katie had a reading at her wedding. Another fun storybook detail was the gorgeous “book garland” created by Katie’s mom, which hung above the outdoor space.
Guests brought along a book for the baby on the way in lieu of a card, each with a sweet note inside. Later they all got in on some crafty fun, creating adorable onesies for the little one. Guests also enjoyed some yummy food by Katie’s sister-in-law, Briana, who also enlisted the help of Beth Renaud to create the amazing desserts for the shower.
