For her little man’s first birthday, photographer Mary Neumann celebrated with this absolutely darling “Mustache Bash”. A lot of love went into crafting this cute party, and nearly everything was DIY, from the delicious food to the mustache garland and straw toppers. There was more to the menu than meets the eye, with some special meaning and family history tied into the options. The cardamom sandwiches used bread from Mary’s mother’s recipe and the peach jam was made from peaches Mary and Liam picked together over the summer. The birthday boy’s great-great-grandmother’s recipe was used for the lemon pie filling in the lemon tarts, while his great-grandmother’s recipe provided the butter cookies. This party proves that simple but thoughtful touches can make it something truly special. Stop by the full gallery to see more!
