With twin baby girls on the way for Matt and Sarah, it was all about the pretty with this pink and gold baby shower hosted by Sarah’s sister-in-law, photographer Cyn Kain, along with two of Sarah’s best friends, Jessica and Mary Nell. Cyn photographed a maternity session for Sarah and Matt (see a couple shots below!), then sent one of the images to Ashley Brooke Designs who used it to create a custom invitation with matching gift tags, cupcake topper and stamps. They wanted to be sure to celebrate dad-to-be Matt as well and made it a coed shower. We’re so glad we’re seeing more and more showers that include the guys!
The shower was full of beautiful, feminine details to perfectly celebrate the little gals on the way, from the white florals by Bella Grace accented with gold, to the lovely pink linens. Tinsel topped drink stirrers from Em for Marvelous on Etsy added a sparkly pop of fun. Guests also had a lot of fun playing the pin game, where other guests could steal your pin if they heard you say “baby”, “babies” or “twins”. An adorable onesie, bib, and burp cloth station was also set up so crafty guests could get creative and make something sweet for the twins. The classic game where everyone’s makes a guess the size of mama’s belly was another activity, along with a swaddle game (with two babies, of course!).
