This yellow and gray baby shower is full of whimsy and adorable details with a fun hot air balloon theme. We absolutely love Fleuretica, who designed the decor and the beautiful florals for this shower in honor of photographer Caroline Tran. Cotton candy hot air balloons float over the delectable dessert bar filled with treats from Batch from Scratch, marked with signage spelled out with yellow thread. To personalize the shower and reflect Caroline’s crafty and DIY personality, they brought in yarn, ribbon, and button detailing throughout. Euri and Kendra of Fleuretica also custom made the napkins with modern geometric fabrics, along with some lovely silk screened placemats to deck out the table. Host Hanna Lim of lollacup organized an amazing gift for Caroline with a dinner delivery service sign-up board, so that she wouldn’t have to worry about figuring out dinner with a newborn for that first month. Caroline was all set with the perfect thank you cards featuring letterpressed hot air balloons from Papeterie. For those of you interested in setting up a meal delivery for a new family…I collected the email addresses of the people interested in participating at the shower. As soon as the baby was born, I created an email to the participants explaining what the family likes to eat, any family allergies, etc. and the time of day that’s best to receive food/visitors. Then I wrote all the dates that needed to be filled (very other day or every 2 days is ideal), and once the calendar was full, I emailed it to the new parents. Email me if you’d like a sample email…
