We’re always impressed by a beautiful nursery on a budget, so we were pretty amazed by this one! The total bill for Clark’s entire fun nursery design came in at only $600! Clark’s mom, photgrapher Jenna Henderson of jHenderson Studios, knew right away her little guy’s nursery wouldn’t be your typical baby blue, sage, tan or pale yellow. She skipped on the traditional themes, too. Instead, the focus was on making a cute, affordable room that would transition well as he aged. For example, the changing table is a desk that has been painted green. Later, they’ll only need to take the changing pad off the top, bring in a chair, and it’s back to being a desk!
Even though there was no theme, they did incorporate a few subtle nods to Clark Kent and Superman, tying in his namesake. Rather than going too overboard, Jenna masterfully brought in little touches, like the poster of the Metropolis skyline, silver accents for the Man of Steel, and a pair of Clark-esque glasses next to an old camera. The result is a charming space with fun details, rather than an a theme that overwhelms the room. See more of this nursery in the full gallery.

Jenna & Josh,
The nursery is so neat. So simple but great details and all on a budget. Just love your creative talent (desk for changing table) and use of color. BTW, that bed will come in handy for Mom or Dad to take a nap while Clark is napping.
