The inspiration for this beautiful black and white baby shower celebrating expecting mom Natalie actually began with a honey and bee theme. Natalie’s friends, Jordana Hazel of Hazelnut Photography and Jess, took the color palette from that idea, but stopped the theme right there and took the design in the direction of this sophisticated, adult luncheon. Clean and bold black and white stripes are used throughout, accented by gorgeous gold details. Jordana and Jess used their own black, white, and gold accessories to style the scene perfectly. The table got an extra fun touch with a gold spray painted train set from Ikea with black and white train cars. Love!
The nickname for the little boy on the way is “BroBro”, so they brought in some cute details to highlight it, like the mini marquee sign on the mantle inspired by this Oh Happy Day tutorial. Jess also created the black and white tablecloths, along with some delicious matching cookies for guests to take home. Guests must have had such a lovely time at this handcrafted event for Natalie!
