This beautiful outdoor baby shower honoring Latasha Haynes of Ike & Tash Photography + Motion was so full of love! From the planning by her sister Melinda, who so carefully created the “Nothing Compares to Her” themed shower to reflect Latasha’s ideas, to the abundant joy from both guests and Latasha, it was a truly beautiful day. The design exuded femininity and charm in a lovely palette of mint green, soft pink and gold, accented by touches of burlap. Guests had a wonderful day ahead of them with plenty of fun, including musical chairs, lullaby writing competitions, and baby food tasting, and lots of yummy treats. Latasha shared so much more about the day and all the details in a heartfelt post on her blog, which you can read by clicking here. The photos were captured by Joshua Dwain and Karen Stott, and you can see much more in the full gallery!

It is absolutely bursting at the seams with fun and joy, and you’ll find lots of cute ideas here for your own unicorn themed party. Natalie shared the details with us, so read on below, then stop by the full gallery for all of the photos!
“Before Ellia was born while I was planning her nursery, I knew that I wanted to hand craft many elements and add a bunch of personal touches. The paper mache unicorn was one of the very first things I made. With Ellia’s 6 months coming up, my sister Mercedes of Darling and Daisy and I knew that we wanted to style and host a mini celebration for my sweet daughter. We decided to center the party around her unicorn, which had been made with love for her months before she was born. With Spring finally starting to arrive, we decided to incorporate a bunch of pretty and bright flowers around our unicorn, sprinkles, handmade confetti and lots of love. We made brownies with cream cheese filing and covered them with frosting and tons of sprinkles, chewy chocolate chip cookies, doughnuts and a scrumptious truffle cake. I also printed out photos of Ellia, the most recent from her weekly photo shoot we have, and put them in mini cards to give to guests as a thank you. I am so thrilled we were able to celebrate my little darlings half birthday surrounded by prettiness and people we love.”
